MEET JOSEPH CHARLES LAMON, LMFT
More about Joseph Charles
A very early influence in his professional career was Viktor Frankl, M.D., author of “Man’s Search for Meaning,” who Joseph met in 1971. Joseph describes his meeting with Frankl as a very positive life-changing experience. Frankl taught Joseph that discovering one’s true meaning in life is man’s primary motivator. Another inspiring influence was Donald W. Schafer, M.D., well-known psychiatrist and hypnotherapist – Joseph’s mentor, supervisor for clinical hypnosis, and friend until Dr. Schafer’s passing in 2000. Joseph has extensive experience successfully treating anxiety and mood disorders, and resolving family and marital problems. He has performed crisis and trauma intervention for police and fire departments. Since 1990, Joseph C. Lamon has hosted radio talk shows and been in demand as a guest lecturer on stress management, communications issues, assertion training, enhancing self esteem, and general psychology.
